BIOSPAIN 2012 will hold its sixth edition in Bilbao (19–21 September 2012), and it has become one of the leading biotechnology events in Europe. BIOSPAIN's fifth edition (2010) attracted over 1,300 delegates, 650 companies from 25 countries, and featured 168 exhibitors and over 2,100 one-to-one meetings, making it the seventh largest biotech partnering event organized in 2010 in the world.

AdvaMed 2012 is the premier medtech conference for business executives, policy-makers, investors, media, distributors, and other industry stakeholders. Last year, more than 1,900 medical device and diagnostics professionals (including 420 CEOs, presidents and C-level executives) from over 925 companies and organizations and representing 22 countries and 38 US states attended the conference, and nearly 950 official one-to-one partnering meetings took place.
In addition to the 40 educational panels, 60 innovative companies and tech transfer offices also made presentations to 200-plus venture capitalists, angel and private equity investors, bankers and senior medical technology business development executives.
